Home for the FLMJ
The old FLMJ was built around a 1970 'park home' that had become life-expired! The new FLMJ has been built around a brand-new 'park home,' and we present some scenes from it.

Here is a view of the outside of the front of the new home. Månstorp is hidden by the fence. Note the Swedish flag flying by the front door, and the Calor Gas bottles that were provided until such a time as Calor could be bothered to connect the new bulk gas tank ... some 6 months after the home was delivered! The home was made by Homeseeker, and is generally well built, but there are many problems with it, caused by careless manufacture, that are in turn, causing a major headache!

It's not just the railway that is Swedish - Over 90% of the furnishings inside come from IKEA - The Store from Sweden. This is the Rejäl kitchen in natural pine - now obsolete! The Post-it notes on the doors were to remind people where things had been put in the new layout, and this picture was taken before the kitchen had been finished - hence all the clutter. |
| This is an evening view, looking into the small hallway, through the rear door. IKEA hard flooring has been laid here and in the bedroom and lounge. (A more water-resistant floor covering was provided with the home in the Bathroom and kitchen.) All of the lighting is from you-know-where, though sadly, the exterior lighting is now obsolete. The bathroom (and toilet) is accessed by a door out of view to the left, just inside the rear door. Therefore, with a suitable cover on the floor, the 'shoes-off-indoors' rule is relaxed for guests to the railway, when they need the little room! | ![]() |
