New Friends of AJK are welcome. We usually operate or work upon the railway once a month, and there are Tuesday evening maintenance sessions also. There is no membership fee, but there is also no managing committee; Friends are expected to make a regular commitment to the railway. We are located in Farnborough (Hants., UK), and have local stations nearby at Farnborough Main, Frimley and Blackwater, with between 20 and 35 minutes walking time. The usual minimum age is 12, but younger people with sufficient maturity will be considered; but all under-16s will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult for the first visit (at least).
